Funerals

Sun rays shining through the branches on a forest path

As a funeral celebrant I know that loss can be a very difficult and overwhelming time and I am here to support you and help you to say goodbye to your loved one.

I will work with you to create the most caring and touching farewell reflecting the personality and the beliefs of the person who has died. Doing this in a way that is personal and meaningful to you can bring great comfort and will be a lasting and special memory.

I will meet with you to understand your hopes and aspirations for this ceremony and to ensure your wishes are respected.

A celebration of life filled with love- the eulogy I write for you will reflect the life of the person we are celebrating and will be shared and agreed with you before hand.

Direct Cremation

Direct Cremation can be a simple, relaxed and affordable option to fully celebrate a life.

Cremation takes place with no mourners present after which the ashes are given to the family who are then free to gather for a unique and personal ceremony with no time constraints.

A venue may be a local beauty spot, the family garden or a venue personal to you and your loved one. If you wish to scatter the ashes at this time, with landowner permission you can be free to do so and I can help you with this.

Memorial Ceremony

A memorial service is often held some time after a family funeral and is a very personal and fulfilling tribute to celebrate the life of a loved one. There really are no constraints, time. venue, numbers attending  and the content is a personally written ceremony reflecting all those lovely things in the life of a person that perhaps there was no time to include at the funeral service. We can include music, poems, anything you like and others can take part if they wish, perhaps reading a favourite verse or relating a favourite memory shared with your loved one.

I can provide lots of ideas to make the ceremony a very special one.
